FAS-TRAC III SUSPENSION: Designed based on opinions and input from hundreds of customers, our top-end Fas-Trac III suspension functions as an improved ratchet suspension. Flush rear lug attachments eliminate pressure points and three levels of nape strap adjustment give for a fully customized fit. Ratchet comfort pad is contoured to the back of the head, improving airflow and preventing hair-pulling. Ensure continued wear with drastically improved comfort and a graspable ratchet.
VARIETY OF SIZES & COLORS: MSA hard hats are available in a large variety of colors and sizes providing a comfortable fit and are also easy to clean and maintain. With many different reflective and retro-reflective stripes, MSA gives the ultimate experience in hardhat customization.
MEETS PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS: Skullgard Caps meet all applicable requirements for a Type I top impact helmet as outlined in ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 Class G. These caps have been fully third-party tested and certified by SEI. Skullgard helmets have been tested to radiant heat loads producing temperatures up to, but not exceeding, 350F.
The full brim design offers additional protection from falling objects, debris, and provides shade from the sun, while the phenolic resin material provides enhanced heat resistance.
The key feature of a cap style hard hat is its low-profile design, resembling a traditional baseball cap, offering protection while allowing for more clearance in tight spaces.
The lamp bracket and cord holder are useful features for ensuring hands-free lighting in dark or poorly lit environments, which is often necessary in many of these high-risk work settings.
The presence of welders lugs makes it especially suitable for welding operations, where it can securely attach face shields, offering protection from high temperatures generated during welding.
